Ole itiko formerly known as Ol joto cottages is on the shores of Lake Oloiden in the Kongoni wildlife Conservancy. It is set in a controlled environment neighbouring various ranch houses owned by former colonialists. The drive to the cottages is a game drive on itself as you can cite several plain game e.g. zebras, elands, warthogs, gazelles among others. It’s a haven for birds as it is close to the lake and the pink flamingos flock its shore as it is on their migration route. The cottages offer a scenic view of the watering hole nearby, often visited by wild animals that come to refresh.
